Citracal Petites
Hi Lisa,
My mom takes Citracal Petites, and I took a look at them last week. I thought they were pretty big (looked bigger than an M&M to me) and was afraid to try them, even though the nut said I should be able to swallow them. I bought a bottle of Bariatric Advantage calcium citrate since I don't feel ready to try swallowing the Citracal just yet.
I had gotten some samples from Celebrate and Buidling Blocks, both formulated for bariatric patients, and thought they tasted pretty good. I'm not sure if I'll like the Bariatric Advantage as well.
Good luck!

Citracal or any calcium citrate pill will dissolve in water (tea, decaf, protein drink, crystal light). I think the normal dose for the petites is 4 for 500 mg. I dissolve 2 regular generic brand calcium citrates in my drinks 3-4 times a day to get my calcium. They do leave a residue but you can either strain or it sits in the bottom and just don't drink it. The residue is from the coating and just fillers, its not the calcium.
